Using your temporary virtual card

The temporary virtual card is a free service that allows you to access a means of payment whilst your physical card is being replaced due to a malfunction, or in the case of loss, theft or fraud.

It is automatically created as soon as your new card is ordered and immediately available in our Paiement Mobile app(1).

Your virtual card can be added into a Wallet (Paylib(2), Apple Pay(3)…) and can be used to make purchases via the internet and with your smartphone.

Good to know:

  • You keep the same card limits and have the same level of protection as with your physical card.
  • Your virtual card is an instant debit card with a balance checking facility
  • There are no fees to use your virtual card anywhere in the world.
  • Details of your virtual card are only accessible in the Paiement Mobile app (card number, CCV and expiry date).
  • Your virtual card will be automatically deactivated as soon as you have received and activated your replacement card (and in all cases, a maximum of 21/2 months of it being issued).
