Inactive accounts
If there has been no activity instigated by you on your account over the last 12 months, you will receive a letter in the post to inform you that your account is classed as inactive by the bank.
In order to re-activate your account, you can do one of the following:
- Complete and return the coupon attached to the letter you have received informing you of your inactive account.
- Make a transaction on your account; for example, this could be a transfer between a current account and a savings account, or a physical card transaction.
